Realnet launches a dedicated Sage 200 WooCommerce integration connector that links both systems together.

Seamless integration between Sage 200 and WooCommerce

Realnet, based in Cambridge, a managed integration and automation specialist has developed a new integration between Sage 200 and WooCommerce.

The automation software organisation created the new WooCommerce to Sage 200 connector between 2021 and 2022.

Realnet Ltd. decided that there was a new opportunity to help their existing and new B2B customers that have both systems, Sage 200 ERP and WooCommere online store, but they are not linked together. This causes businesses to focus more on repetitive data entry tasks – such as orders, customers, products, stock and prices – between WooCommerce and Sage 200.

The need to manually transfer or copy data from WooCommerce to Sage 200 and vice-versa, may cause incorrect prices and out of stock items on WooCommerce store and also becomes quite costly to manage WooCommerce orders and fulfil them in Sage 200 ERP. Businesses need to employ dedicated members of staff to input all the data manually.

The automation and integration development team at Realnet, implemented the integration together with a B2B client, Gee Tee Bulb company based in Spalding.

The integration solution is based on a microservice Message Queue (MQ) connector that is hosted on a dedicated cloud server. This MQ microservice is totally separate from WooCommerce and Sage 200. This means that it does not disrupt any of the systems involved. It acts as a broker between WooCommerce and Sage 200.

The Sage 200 WooCommerce connector can also scale up as business grow.

It was key to develop a connector that has both a test and live environment. So it is easier to test new updates or upgrades to the automation and integration workflow processes without affecting live systems (ie. Live Sage 200 ERP database and Live WooCommerce store).
